Clark County Profile

With some of the largest-growing companies located in Clark County, the Portland-Vancouver areas are two of the fastest growing locations in the Pacific Northwest. With unbeatable access to ports, factory location, and utility costs, Clark County offers businesses looking to expand an ideal location.

Washington's tax environment, low cost of living and quality of life are major factors in businesses moving to Clark County as well. In addition, major transportation routes made possible by Interstate 5 and 205 also make the area a convenient one for trade, enabling easy travel to Portland, California, Seattle and Canada. Additionally, the Portland International Airport (PDX) is within 12 minutes travel time from downtown Vancouver, WA and offers daily non-stops to the Pacific Rim, as well as most major airports in the U.S.

Because of Clark County’s ideal climate, tax rates, utility costs, skilled work force and training programs available, the area has been recognized as a prime location for companies in the solar energy industry.
