Business Expansion

Assisting businesses to operate more efficiently, expand, or train and hire new employees is a priority for CREDC. To help you increase your bottom line CREDC has access to the following programs:

  • Impact Washington (formerly Washington Manufacturing Services) helps manufacturers become more competitive through customized services including lean manufacturing, quality assurance, assessment and bench-marking, safety, workforce training, software selection, and information technology.
  • PTAC helps companies identify government contracts that are good matches for your business. Help with the bidding preparation and an explanation of government processes is also provided.
  • Industrial Revenue Bonds. CREDC issues tax-exempt industrial revenue bonds for financing manufacturing expansions. The major benefit of these bonds is their lower cost – on average their interest rate is two percent lower than market rates. Eligible projects include manufacturing and processing facilities located in Clark County, specifically land acquisition, building construction and acquisition of new equipment.
  • Washington Technology Center (WTC) has three funding options for companies that need assistance to get their products through the design state to prototype and production.

If you have questions about expanding your business or about any of the above programs, contact Bonnie Moore, CREDC’s Director of Business Services at (360) 567-1055 or bmoore@credc.org
