As experts on commercial and industrial property available in Clark County, CREDC strives to educate clients on real estate opportunities that will best serve the needs of their businesses. CREDC has access to multiple databases equipped to search available property based on size, location and infrastructure. We also have close working relationships with the majority or local Realtors, developers, property and business park owners and port directors.
Business Expansion
CREDC offers several programs to increase the competitive edge of client’s business. Currently, CREDC offers four programs for business expansion: the Washington Manufacturing Services (WMS), the Washington State Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), the Industrial Revenue Bonds, and the Washington Technology Center.
Permit and Process Facilitation
CREDC helps to expedite the complex entitlement process of attaining permits. With more than 25 years of experience, it is our goal to connect clients with proper agencies and businesses saving both time and money. We will:
- Act as a liaison between government agencies and businesses.
- Provide fee schedules for building permits, system development charges, impact fees, electrical, water, sewer and storm drainage rate schedules.
- Have close relationships with Clark County and other jurisdictions.
- Work closely with jurisdictions and other agencies including Northwest Natural Gas, Clark Public Utilities, and the Southwest Clean Air Agency of Washington.
Policy Development
We advocate on behalf of issues that improve the Clark County economy and make the county more competitive. We take this crucial part of our mission seriously and stay abreast of the latest concerns and issues. We will:
- Monitoring and reviewing available inventory of industrial land in Clark County, reviews and reports on development trends, development constraints and employment projections.
- Championing the sales tax exemption for machinery and equipment.
- Gaining funding for Washington State University Vancouver.
- Adopting tax incentives for research and development, semiconductor materials and microchip investments and manufacturing incentives.
- Championing the expansion of the 192nd Avenue interchange to serve the growing businesses in Clark County.
